During the 2002-2003 year, the InTime project is continuing to target its objectives by generating new online learning and teaching resources for integrating technologies into preservice methods programs and by promoting them along with the Technology as Facilitator of Quality Education Model.
This year, the promotion of the project ideas and resources at various conferences and meetings has not only increased in its quantity but diversity as well. During 2000-2001, InTime was presented at 48 conferences. This year again administrators, faculty, and students involved in the project have planned to go to many conferences, meetings, and events.
Additionally, in attempt to promote and integrate the teaching and learning tools developed by the project into all content areas, during 2002-2003 InTime is planned to be presented at subject-specific conferences, i.e. NCSS (National Council for the Social Studies), NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English), TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages), and NCTM (National Council for Teachers of Mathematics). Traditionally, InTime has been trying to reach diverse levels of the education system by, for example, adding to this year conference list such new organization as NREA (National Rural Education Assoc.), and NMSA (National Middle School Assoc.).
The chart below represents a full account of the conferences, meetings, and events that InTime representatives are planning to attend during the 2002-2003 academic year.
